Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

YES - I know this blog is about STL...but trust me, there's a reference to the Cards in this story!

We visited the brand-spanking new Nationals Stadium here in gloomy DC yesterday for our first game this season. We froze our hineys off as the temps were only in the 50s. The Nats played the Cubs and WON (yes, helping us out in the standings!)

Of course, the tyke went with us. WHY - because she's a huge RYAN ZIMMERMAN fan!
Little Miss asks me in the 3rd inning 'Where's Albert Pujols?'!
I had to explain we were watching the Nats and not the Cards.
I think she got it.
Until she asks me what Yadi's number is.

Last night - over the baby monitor, the last thing we heard before she drifted off to sleep....she sang the entire song of 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame'.
